Off the Road: A Podcast about the Environmental Humanities

Off the Road: A Podcast about the Environmental Humanities is a podcast exploring the environmental humanities through conversations with scholars working at the intersections of history, literature, culture, and ecology. Hosted by researchers at the University of Konstanz and developed in collaboration with the ERC-funded research project Off the Road: The Environmental Aesthetics of Early Automobility, the podcast tells meaningful stories and conversations about environmental change and human relationships with the natural world. Each episode features experts from Germany and beyond discussing topics such as climate change, energy transition, environmental justice from a cultural perspective. By presenting the insights from academic research to wider audiences, we hope to connect the humanities with broader societal debates about our environmental future.
